All heating devices should be used with a thermostat to protect your reptile from excessive heat. The heat cable is approximately 4mm thick. Use a 5mm router bit to cut channel in mdf. If using cable with Vision brand racks the cable fits perfectly into slots. Be careful never to overlap cable.
