Description Calcivet is a super-saturated calcium supplement for birds with vitamin D3 for addition to water or moist foods for the prevention and treatment of egg-binding, milk fever, rickets, splayed legs, feather plucking and calcium deficiency in cage and aviary birds and pigeons. Application: Give Calcivet 1-2 days a week to non-breeding birds and 5 days a week to breeders or egg-laying pets. DO NOT FEED EVERY DAY. For birds on dry diets add 10-20 mls of Calcivet to 1 litre of water (0.5-1 fl oz per pint). Add to food for birds getting soft foods, human foods or fresh fruit and veggies and ensure it is all consumed, using 1 ml (1 oz) per kg bodyweight. 1 ml (30 drops) for 16-32 finches/canaries, 8-16 budgies, 4-8 cockatiels, 2-4 greys/Amazons, 1-2 cockatoos/macaws.
