Zesty Isopod (Armadillidium granulatum ‘lemon’) Named after the colour of the spots in it’s back rather than it’s taste, this is a perfect species if you’re thinking of starting out with Isopods. As granulatum are widespread across Europe these are very adaptable little rollers, and super easy to setup. Are a pretty large species, and certainly one I’ve taken home to my two spiderlings who’ve set them up and are currently overfeeding them on cucumber and other bits… Just bear in mind they can have some issues moulting in too humid an environment so wet end / dry end is again at play here.
